Lowering+LT's=.....

Well i was thinking about lowering my car and was wondering what some of the guys with long tubes have experienced.

If i do lower it i will possible end up buying theses.

Springs

The LT's that i have are hooker long tubes. How much clearence am i looking at. Also im planning on going with some vette rims. 17's 18's. Will that really hurt me?

Also does anyone know how good those springs are? Is that to low or what?

Also does anyone know how hard it is to install lowering springs also are there any disadvantages to lowering it??

those springs will be too low with lt's get a pro kit (1.25") or dms (~1")

those springs look badass along with sportlines but with LT's it wont work

Re: Lowering+LT's=.....

Lowering springs and LTs don't get along too well... lol

My car is lowered 3/4" because thats how the 96 SS came from SLP.. and with my Jet-Hots, I go over even little speed bumbs and like 5 km/h because I have scraped them before. Not really too bad.. in fact I don't even think there is visable flange damage.

Ford has Sportlines (I believe) and Longtubes. And, beyond that, he's running true-duals, as well.

Send him a PM.
