Low Beam Headlamps.

Hi,
Just wondering how much you guys in the U.S pay for a standard replacement low beam headlamp for a 93-97 camaro.Just ordered myself one and it was £53,which is about $100. It is a genuine GM part but even so it seems way too expensive for what it is.Does anybody make a decent conversion kit to allow just the bulb to be replaced, saw one on E-bay from eurolights.com but it looked pretty nasty.
Looked on E-bay for the standard relacement with no luck, all I could find was headlamps for camaros up to 1992.Are the 93-97 lamps sold by anybody other than GM?
All the best,Mark.

They are $20-$25 at the auto parts stores.

Maybe I'll take a spare suitcase on my next U.S vacation and fill it with auto-parts

do the sylvania silva-star conversion.

you take your old headlight housing, heat it up and remove the bulb element. then you take a 9005/9006 element and epoxy it into the housing.

do a search ....it's been covered
