Low battery charge?

My camaro has been in storage for about 3 months, went to start it today to find that the charge is somewhat low, went to start the car, clicking and lights flickering. Kind of what I expected although somewhat disappointing. The battery is pretty well at the end of its life, and will be replaced soon but I would like to wait a bit before replacing it. Would jumping it provide enough charge to get it running; am I liable to do more harm than good trying that or I'd be better off buying a charger?

Try jump starting it, then see what the volt gauge says while running. Have the battery load tested after it charges a while - if the battery is bad a charger won't help. When mine was clicking and wouldn't turn the car over the battery was toast.

If the batt was hooked up for the 3 months it was stored even a good batt would be drained enough not to start it. In the past I've jumped them with no problem.
