loose door handle causes?

The outside door handle on the drivers door is getting loose like something is worn. The door still opens but there is a lot more play (jiggle) in it than the passenger side. What is the normal cause of this? Cheap/easy to replace?

Thanks!!

I am curious as to the answer for this as well, Im new to F-bodies and havent a clue how to fix this either. My speculation is there are bushings in the pivot assembly that wear out?? So new door handle is the fix??

Take the inner door panel off. Look and see if the plastic clips that attach the handle to the rod are broken or loosening up.

Usually is because the return spring broke at the tip and is loose or fell off. That happened on a 3rd. gen. I had.
