My friend plans on doing this befor winter comes, He has 3 GN motors and a bunch of other stuff.

I think you'll have a really hard time finding a step-by-step guide for that. It's not a common swap.
This is the sort of thing that should be done by people who don't need a step-by-step.
That said, good luck! My wife's GN is faster than my LS1, so you should be able to build a pretty fast car.
