a guy i work with also has a famil car lot. he pulled up yesterday with a black 1996 SLP Firehawk -6speed with all slp options. you will never guess what he payed for this car... done guessing yet? it has 23,000miles on it- clean as crap.. $6200.00 he payed for it . not sure if it has the LT4 i doubt it.. it was a repo car. what do you think he could resale this car for ?

 

LT4's were only available for F-bodies in '97......I think I'm right..

 

nope 96 was when they were built.

 

$10k, anything more then that and your better off getting a LS1 for the price.


And i wasn't aware that any LT1 fbodies came with LT4 option. Can anyone clear this up?

 

in 96 SLP made a one of a kind... slp pumpkin patch ss with a LT4 then they made only 100 97 ss lt4's and 100 firehawks with the lt4. 330hp stock...

96 was the year they put the LT4 in the Corvette. The 29 Firehawks and 100 SS LT4's were not built until the 1997 model year.

 

1996 slp made a ss one of a kind.. like i said it was the first f-body to have a LT4 i have a magazine all bout it. not trying to be a smarta$$ just proving a point i have seen where the numbers where 100 or each car also several times.. so who knows..
