lighting issues on a 1997 camaro .... HELP

I hit a deep pothole sometime back I am not sure if this is a coincendence or not but at that time the front left turn signal has never worked again. Nor the DRL on the left/front since then.

here are some basics that are known

No electrical tampering has ever been done to this car, I have owned it since brand new.

lights off .. depress brake pedal all brake lights work

lights on ... depress brake pedal L/R tail-light shuts off

lights off ... Ignition on R/F drl lights up L/F does not

lights on ... car running ... R/F drl on only parking light comes for turn signal bulb

car running ... hazard lights flash normally ... R turn signal front and rear flash ... Left rear turn signal will illuminate but not flash

DRL automatically turns lights on and off normally

dimmer switch seems fine

no fuse issues

new bulbs through out car have been replaced and problem persists.

I figure since mine has issues surely others have as well.

I also should add from I believe the DRL heat from bulb has browned my front turn signal sockets and Im wondering if perhaps they have internally shorted and causing the problem with the L/R brake light.

Not exactly an "Advanced Tech" topic.... let's try moving this to "General 67-02 F-Body Tech".
