Length of Rod? How to measure

I got some Luntai pro comp rods. Dont know what if they are 5.7, 5.85 or 6.00. At what points do I measure the rod to find out?

Re: Length of Rod? How to measure

Could the length of the throw be anything other than center to center?

Why measure rod length? You're just going to lie about it anyway

Re: Length of Rod? How to measure

It is center to center. The easiest way is to use a caliper to measure from the top of the crank bearing "hole" to the bottom of the pin hole (basically just measuring the "shaft" and none of the "hole" at first). Write this number down, then measure the pin hole and the crank hole with the caliper, divide each of those numbers by 2 and add the results to the first measurement. That is about the most accurate way to do it.
