On a newly rebuilt 95 LT1, if the valves are not sealing and leaking very badly due to bad head work, would this cause the motor to burn oil? Apparently the garage i hired to do my heads had no idea what they were doing. You can look at the valve and see that the angle they cut into the seats is not even close. I pumped cylinders #1 and #3 up to around 100 psi and when you look down into the intake runners you can literally see bubbles when adding a little oil....They are leaking pretty bad. I have removed both heads already...I figured if the very first and second cylinders were leaking as bad as they are then there wasnt any use testing the other 6......Thanks guys!....
