Interior rattles... everyone inside!
#46
I had a rattle in that area several months ago that drove me nuts cause I couldn't find it. Only on the right kind of surface and really only when the weather got kinda cold.
Turned out to be the plastic bracket for the PCM. It broken and was allowing just enough movement to cause a rattle that sounded like it was coming from inside the dash.

I had the hatch rattle,so I lowered the hatch lock down a little,Then I developed a sqeeking hatch, then I used some general purpose greese on the hatch stops, and that fixed that.(I've heard the round felt things work well).
The passenger side seat had a sqeeking,(not rattleing)sound that drove me nuts.I found the seat belt anchor was the problem.I used some bailing wire(2-3 turns),and the sqeek went away.(Wrapped between the belt holder and the carpet where it moves back and forth.Hope this helps.
The rear coil spring sqeek(If you don't have the rubber isolators on them.can be fixed(temporary),by spraying WD40 all over the top and bottom of the springs(bend the red plastic tube, using a very small can of WD40 for the bottoms).Hope this helps.
