Intake Elbow - Differences by year?

I need to buy the rubber intake elbow. I am using part numbers from shbox's site - 1993-1994 is part number 25147210 for $55.54 while 1996-1997 is part number 25147187 for $62.26. Is the only difference in these the molded vent hole for the opti (which I could drill myself)? Or is there something else I'm missing?

You need the 95-97, they have a tube that runs off the intake into the opti to vent the opti, whereas the 93-94 do not have a tube because they have a non vented opti

The opti is vented with a small diameter (maybe 1/8th" ?) rubber hose and a 90 degree fitting plugged into the top of the elbow - the "tube" is the silencer (thats my understanding anyway). So it seems to me that the only difference is the small diameter hole in the top to plug in the opti vent hose. If that is the case - I'm figuring I could save $7 - drill my own hole - and get the cheaper unit.

You could always buy an aluminum elbow like I did, cost me $49.99,looks nicer and does away with the silencer tube.Have a look on E-bay,you'll also find the 1LE elbows on there.
Regards,Mark.

I STILL need (ok, not need, but want) a new elbow for mine. I have the stocker on mine with the silencer.

Yea I know, I just mistyped it, I meant the hose, not the tube. The tube is the silencer, if you want one without a tube then order a 1LE elbow it will not have the silencer on it.
