Installing Hatch struts
Re: Installing Hatch struts
Support the hatch with a stick or something first
Then get a T-50 torx bit and a impact (impact is for making it easier on your arm) pull back the rubber covers on the car side of the hatch and take out the torx bolts.
Then get a flat head screw driver and pop the hatch side of the hatch struts off.
Then just reverse to put back on except put the torx bolts in first then the hatch side.

Re: Installing Hatch struts
It's possible but usually they both wear out over time unless one of the seals broke on one or something weird. Be careful how you prop it up the hatch is kinda heavy. I Jammed a mop in there real tight.
