Im losing hope with this third brake light, no one has helped me!

So, I posted on here a few times on my 98+ ss spoiler conversion and I have had no one help me with this. I can not get the third brake light to work on 1996 z28 camaro. I had an rs spoiler from the factory. I read I needed to buy a 10 ohm resistor and Ibought it. How do I connect it now to make it work properly? Can someone please guide me step by step, photos would also be greatly appreciated. I'm really losing hope On this.

I am pretty sure you were directed on your very first post about this to a wiring diagram on my website that tells you how to wire it. The relay coil is recommended, because people have had metldowns with a plain old resistor. The relay is tucked/secured in the hatch cavity. The resistance is needed to avoid problems people have reported with the ABS and cruise not working properly with the LED.

The SS spoiler wiring should just plug into what you have existing. If it does not work, there may be something wrong with it. It just takes power and ground to make it come on.

Yes, Rob, I told him about using a relay, and that he could find the info on your website. I also told him where to find help for posting pictures.

But apparently he didn't consider that to be "help". I couldn't help him with the mounting. Apparently no one here happens to have replaced an RS spoiler with a 98+ SS spoiler.

I know I'll think twice before trying to help in the future.
