Ignition switch problem

Well after chasing the problem of why my car won't start i finally think I figured it out. I was apparently getting false codes and whatnot but anyway here goes...

When I try to start the car normally it'll instantly cut off. But if I hold the key all the way forward it'll start and stay running, but then there won't be any power to anything else. The key is supposed to come back to the normal position and bring power back, but it just can't do this without killing the engine???

So I'm guessing I have a bad switch? What can I do about that? I'm guessing it's a dealer item?

Thanks on advance.

Could be the switch... I changed mine using the site above and it's not that big of a deal... You can buy a new switch from Advance, Autozone, Pep Boys, etc.
