Re: Ignition Problem

Are you sure it is ignition related and not something involving something fuel related like a clogged/dirty injector.

Agreed. Test fuel pressure at the rail before condeming the opti. If that has good pressure there are a number of other tests you can do to determine the problem.

Re: Ignition Problem

ok thanks for the help guys but i definitely found the problem myself earlier...i decided to check all the wires and plugs again to make sure the plugs were in correctly and the wires were connected to the plugs correctly and i also have a tool that connects one end to the plug and one end to the wire and it lights up if u are getting a good connection...earlier i had felt the misfire from the drivers side cylinder #7 and had figured that the wire may not have been connected right but it was and upon inspection of it...i noticed that about one inch up from the 90* boot that connects to the plug, the wire had been burned almost completely thru...probably done prior to my installation of fire sleeving...so i have a new wire on the way and fire sleeving for it b4 it gets to that point again...thanks for all the help tho...stupid mistake on my part...
