Alright, I have a us exotics ws6 ram air hood for my 95 bird. I have the gm box. The rubber gasket is too thick, so I ripped it off, but now I am having a very hard time finding where to get a nice rubber gasket to replace it... anyone been here done that before?

I can't even find single sided sticky foam, its all sticky on both sides...

Any help would be appreciated!

THANKS
Cody

mcmaster carr, or go to your local body-shop and ask for some generic foam moulding; they normally have a bunch on rolls.

You can get rubber sealing material from a hardware store. Part stores also sell a variety.

I got the foam I used to seal an airlid from Lowes or Home Depot.

OReiley's I noticed had automotove type seal on rolls.

Most foam or hollow rubber household weather stripping is only sticky on one side. Go to a hardware store as suggested, not an auto parts store. The SLP seal sold with their Ram Air HO hood is a piece of large diameter hollow weather stripping, that you have to cut and stick to either the air box or the underside of the hood.

Yes, it came with the SLP Ram Air HO hood, and consisted of 3 short, straight pieces of stripping, with double face tape on one side. SLP dicontinued, and is clearing out their RA HO and Ultra Z hoods, and components (guess they like the Mustang market better), so you could contact them and see if they have any surplus of the seal strips that they want to get rid of.
