I was doing my LT4KM just looking around and noticed that the throttle spring in my car is all loose and not evenly lined up, how tight should this spring be? Also there is alot of play in the throttle and cruise control cables. I read about how to adjust them but how much play should there be if any? Right now it is not tight at all, actually kind of sagging. Thanks for any help.

 

Sounds like it's broken. There should be NO play in the spring and light tension on the throttle cable.

 

Time to order some parts I take it, some of the coils on the spring almost overlap so that must need to be replaced , got a part #?

Also there is alot of play in both the cables, hopefully something I can adjust without replacing.
