How much AC compressor oil is required..

I have taken my car to the shop and they evacuated my system. I am now in the process of replacing the old compressor, exp valve, receiver.
The compressor came w/out any fluid so how much do I need to put in the system and where is the best place for entry.
I've got some PAG 150 r-134a lubricant in a 8.5oz can which I believe is the correct stuff??

Thanks

Cody

Pour a couple ounces into the compressor, turn it over a couple times, then pour the rest into the dryer. Should say on the blower housing how much oil and refrig. it holds, usually 6 to 8 oz. of oil, 2.5 lbs or so of refrig. With the expansion controls on that system you'll need to weigh the refrig pretty close to get the charge right.
