How far from stock ride height am I ?
How far from stock ride height am I ?
I lowered my car with a Eibach pro-kit which I believe is 1.5 inch drop, and I'm rolling on 245/35/20's. I'm not sure what the stock tire is and I was curious how close to stock ride height I am. If anyone can chime in I'd appreciate it. THanks.
Re: How far from stock ride height am I ?
stock tire diameter is 25.6"
your tires are 26.7"
so you're tire gives you aprox .5" higher stance, which means with the 1.3-1.5" drop of the prokit...you are at about a 1" total drop

So it looks like according to Injuneer's info the larger wheels didn't raise me up by much at all
Hopefully it will be enough that I don't run into clearance issues.

The base Z28 or Formula, and some T/A's (depending on the year) came with 235/55-16 tires. To get the 245/50-16's, you had to order RPO "QLC", which was for Z-rated tires. I don't know the actual production numbers. I was just pointing out that 245/50-16 tires were not "standard" on all V8's. What your car left the factory with will be shown on the tire info sticker on the door, and shown on the build tag.
