How do you reset the computer?

Well the reason why I ask is I believe that my O2's were bad and I want to reset the computer to the original program that was in it. Do I just unplug the computer or do I un-hook the battery. Or should i not worry about it. The car seemed to be running way to rich so that is why I want to get back to the old program with out the old O2's influence on the fuel trims etc...

When you change out the O2 senosrs, its a good idea to "clear" the long term fuel corrections (one of the few things the PCM actually stores in volatile memory). Find the fuse labled "PCM BAT"... in my 94 its in the panel on the end of the dash, but I think in 95 they moved it to the box under the hood. With the key in the "off" position, pull that fuse for 30 seconds, then replace it.

Done.

I think 1995 was the only year the PCM BAT fuse was under the hood. All other years should have it in the dash fuse panel.
