how do I.........

..........get the boot off the # 8 spark plug? i can get my hands in there to pull on it, but that little fuc**r will NOT come loose ....so i was just wondering if anyone on the board here has a trick , or a tool......i got the other end off the coil pack, but the other end is proving to be a bear.......i have all the other plugs done but that one!

I assume you twisted it back and forth a few times while pulling? I don't understand how a boot can be so stuck like you say. If memory serves, I may have got to that one from underneath.

yeah ive friggin tried everything......so i just left it till tomorrow.....ill give it a try again.....how did u get it from beneath....looks like even less room from the bottom?

if you are replaceing plug just snap the end off then put the socket on the other part(can even use regular socket after you break it)

sometimes a pair of bent pliers will help if you can get them to fit in there...just be careful not to damage the boot by using the pliers to forcefull

Jegs actually sells a tool for pulling plug wires without damaging them,might be a useful tool to have for the future.

Don't think you understand. If your changing plugs you can break the porcelain end and free the wire from the head. You can then get the broken end out of the wire boot much easier.
