HIR 9011 9012 Bulbs

Does anyone have any first hand experience with 9011 or 9012 HIR bulbs in any car, let alone an F-Body? More specifically, the bulbs being sold by this gentleman:

http://hirheadlights.com/

I don't care about light output on a stand, do they illuminate the road significantly better than normal 9005/9006 bulbs? Were they worth $26.95 per bulb? Do they fit in 98-02 lamp assemblies, will the low beam bulbs interfere with that circular shield in the lamp?

Judging on me swapping out to "HID-LIKE" bulbs when I got my halos on, I doubt that buldge will even fit through the hole. "The bulbs also can fit many other makes and models worldwide; if your car takes 9005/9006 bulbs, they will almost certainly fit with ease. " means that it'll technically fit, since our bulbs are -05/-06. Hope that helps.. If you'd like, you can be our guinea pig.
