High A/C Pressures

I just installed a new compressor and added 2lb of R-134A. My High side pressure is around 300, a/c doesn't cool well, and the engine starts getting hot in traffic. I'm reasonably confident I accidentally installed too much PAG150. New compressor had 4oz and I added 2oz to the new receiver/dryer and 1oz in each hose for a total of 8oz. However, I didn't completely remove the hose that runs down to the compressor. Maybe it had oil trapped in it? I also replaced the expansion valve and pulled vacuum on the system for several hours. Any advice?

Thanks,

Loren

Do the fans come on when you turn on the A/C. High head pressure, poor a/c cooling and the engine getting hot in traffic are all symptoms of the fans not running.
