Score! That's my write up
If you have any questions, just ask. I found out the hard way to not wire the switch to the cigarrette lighter's red, my switch(that came with the QTP cutout) has a little light on it that always glows. If you have a momentary switch(no goofy lights or anything on it that glow while it's not being switched) you should be okay using the lighter, given that you don't open and close the cutout repeatedly with the car off.

Re: help with e-cutout wiring???
I see you have a convertible like me.
I wired mine into the +ign on the convertible top switch. The wires are very heavy gauge and can handle the load. I mounted the switch in the ashtray. The hardest part was getting the wire from the rear to the center console. To do that, I removed the back seats and trim, took up the carpet and ran the wire under the carpet.
