help with burnt fog light

Re: help with burnt fog light
I can't remember, it was a long time ago. I do remember that you just take it out from the bumper. Can
t remember if it was torx screws or not, but I DO remember that you have to take it easy or you will wind up dropping the screws into to bumper or somewhere and it isn't easy to retrieve them.
Someone else may remember the details, but no you don't have to remove the bumper and it isn't that hard---just make sure you have a good hold of those fasteners when you take them out and reinstall them.

PLEASE post on the correct fourm.... "fog light" doesn't belong on "LT1/LT4 Engine Tech". We have specific forums for specific topics, and "General" to cover what's left.
Moving to "General FBody Tech & Info".....

oh...you will need a flat bladed screwdriver and a small pair of needle nosed pliers to remove the fasteners on each side of the light. You need to work like a surgeon and be careful not to drop the suckers as mentioned.

Anyways, I ended up loosening the driver side bracket and moving it full outboard so I could get to the pin fastener on the inboard side, hence the use of method 2. The passenger side light was OK, was able to use method one.
Good luck
