Question Hello, help

This isn't my camaro but my husbands. He has a 1994 Camaro Z28 5.7L V8 and I'm not even sure where to post my question in here because I know nothing about cars. I'm trying to find a part replacement but I don't know what it is called.

First I was told it was:

1. Fan Shroud
2. Radiator Upper Support
3. Radiator mounting panel
4. Radiator tie bar
5. Radiator Top Cover

I can't replace it if I don't know the name. It's the thing with instructions all over it and it holds the radiator in place from the top so it doesn't move/vibrate. It's broken.

Re: Hello, help

Welcome to CamaroZ28.com ! ! !

Let's move this from "New Member Intro" to "General 67-02 F-Body Tech".... much better place to find help.

I assume you are looking for part #2 in this diagram:

The 1994 factory service manual identifies that part as "Panel, Radiator Upper Mounting".

Probably something you can find in an auto salvage yard. The part should be the same for 93-95 Camaro and Firebird, V6 or V8. 96/97 has a different part #. 1LE optional performance package for Z28 has a different part #.

Wholesalegmpartsonline.com show that part as "No Longer Available". Original part # was 10262963 if you can find a GM dealer who will look online to see if there is another GM dealer that still has one.
