Hard to take out 4th gen seats?

My seat is loose as crap, I tightened a few bolts form the rails to the seat plastic but I think I need to take the whole thing out since its loose again. Are they hard to get out? I do not see how I am going to get a wrench in there.....I assume open ended only no sockets? I have the feeling one day the thing is going to come loose and I will be sitting in the back seat

should be the 4 bolts for each seat that you see, and then any wire connections for electric slides.

i think they are 13 or 15mm and a socket sould work fine, least they did for my seats when i cleaned under them.

the only thing that might prevent you from this task are those little black caps on the bolts. but if you can't get those off you shouldn't be working on ur car so... you should have absolutely no problem.

I just took out my seats today as well as the rest of my interior the seats take like 5 minutes if that and i only had half of the little black bolt caps. oh and the bolts are 1/2 inch.

They're one of the easiest things to take out of the car. Don't forget the 2 Phillips heads for the seat belt loop.

If you are actually removing the seats from the car, you can take the t-tops off and give yourself some more working room. I always roll down the window and take the tops off and then it is a piece of cake to get the seats out.

After you get the seats out, take some time to pull the carpet away from the studs in the floor, and make sure that the studs are not tearing loose from the floor. I've had two of mine tear loose.

13mm open end wrench is the correct tool for the seat removal. Remove plastic protectors first and then (4) nuts on floor mounted studs per each each seat.
