Got the car out tonight

Last year the car had free mods, and CAI along with 2.73's
It now has everything in the sig minus the N20 and magnaflow in the car.

The temps are in the low 30's right now so ground temp could be a lot better.

I broke the Hawks in and then did a few short half throttle bursts. I was wondering how good of a tune Mad Z did and at a tad past half throttle I broke the tires loose pretty hard. From a stop to WOT it was just smoking the tires (keep in mind I have LCA's, and control arms) and I think I must have gotten off it a bit because it did not shift into second harder.

After I put in the NGK TR-6's the engine sounded a tad smoother then with the Bosch platnums.

Once it warms up then I will take it back out, if traction is still just as bad I think I will have to buy some radials. The current tires are also P235's....

Get some 17x11 wheels and 315 tires instead of running drag tires.

DITTO!

Even 17X9 wheels with 275s will make a huge difference in traction.

Re: Got the car out tonight

I think I might save some cash and look into some ZR1's for the and smaller ones for the front.
Only problem is that radials on the sallad shooters are cheaper then new wheels and tires hahaha.

I got it out this morning and the ground was a lot warmer and traction was not as big of a problem as last night. Hooked halfway good off the line and barked them hard into second...

They sure beat the 2.73's LOL, N20 should be at my door friday night, waiting on a new main feed line. You feel like helpin on a N20 install?

I pulled out the platnums for the NGK's, the platnums have about 15 minutes of idle run time on them and thats it, they are yours for free if you want them.

I am going to try and be at IRP come the 29th.

Re: Got the car out tonight

Well they do know there 4 bangers and I am playing with some people and letting them try and figure out what I have now hahaha.

They do know there 4 bangers LOL even tough everyting turns into I hate you yelling matches

Got the N20 and its only missing the T fitting to splice into the fuel system, my dad seems to be pretty excited about it so thats cool only problem is that with the jets they give you you can run a 50,75,100, or 150 no 125 so I am going to get a guy I know scan my system and see if I am pulling enough timing at WOT for a 150 just to be safe or I will run the 100

Going to automotions and advanced now, need camaro stuff and beater stuff haha

Re: Got the car out tonight

Got the car on insurance because I called and on my own policy I am paying 79 a month for BOTH cars, on my parents it was 100 per car!

Yeah I signed up reaalll quick

Took the car out this morning and it feels really strong so far and it shifts into second pretty hard.

I will be out and about tonight, magnaflow goes on this coming Monday, then N20 goes in this week I hope.
Talked to my dad and he is a dummy (his words) when it comes to N20 so he wants to read up on it before I start keeping the car in the garage with a full bottle and all. I am not to worried about it.

Once thats N20 goes in its gonna be SICK
