Gm High-tech Mag Went Up To 5.99 Why!!!

I dont know if any of you guys went out to buy the new GM HIGH-TECH mag, but they raised the price to 5.99. Around me it used to be 3.99. I think that is to much for that mag. I hope its just that high this time b/c of the poster they say they give you, but if thats the reason they can keep the poster.

They are going to a 10 month cycle instead of 6 issues a year. I guess they need more to pay for salaries and production.

Definitely.

I just paid $17.95 for my subscription and it's well worth the money for the information in there.

Re: Gm High-tech Mag Went Up To 5.99 Why!!!

I would still buy the magazine if it was $10.00 an issue. I think that it is the best magazine available for the F-body and GM guys. I am going to look crazy but I have had a subscription for years now and I have always gone out and bought an extra issue after I receive the one in the mail. I have all of my issues over the past few years in three ring binders that I keep in my office and the ones I get in the mail, I use to sit around and read. Again, can you ell that I love this magazine!

You can buy it at Advance Auto parts and Wal-Mart is also starting to carry it.

Re: Gm High-tech Mag Went Up To 5.99 Why!!!

6 months after subscribing I got the usual renew subscription call. 'Cept I'd already renewed for two yrs each twice! After reading the first 2 issues I sent in the renewal card for 2 more years. Then a couple months later at the track Super Chevy mag had a booth and was signing up 2yr subs with a t-shirt GMHTP was one of the mags offered.

Guess I'd better get my head out and renew again! My sub runs out in 07

Barnes & Nobles carries it, too.
