The lock/latch for the glove box is broken on my 95z (i.e. the door does not stay closed). Is there a separate piece I can get to fix this or do I need to replace the whole box?

You can replace just the handle piece. Thats what I did but I don't know the part number.

 

You can get the new clip/handle, but retain the original lock/key..... If I recall its was around 10 dollars

 

Mine has been doing that for years, I developed a method of pulling down on the inside latch mechanism and then shutting the box. It's the only way it will stay closed. Now that you have reminded me of it, I'm going to go get a latch from the junkyard as soon as it warms up and swap out the lock.
