If you are buying a V8 you can't be concerned about mileage cause it's not gonna be good. If it's that big a deal don't bother. I get 200 to a tank with a light foot combined city/highway.

before i did my headers and found out my old plugs were f*cked(2 were loose enough to wiggle and they were all gapped wrong) i was getting 150ish to a tank, very bad. no after all that and a pcmforless tune ive gotten 120 off a lil over a 1/4 tank, so much better.

I realize it will not get good gas mileage like a 4 banger. But compared to my truck that i am driving now just about anything would be better than the 9mpg that it gets.

On my '95 basically M6 stock Z28 I average about 26mpg on the highway (between 70 and 80mph average) and about 17-21 in the city depending on traffic and my right foot, lol.
From my experience, with these cars you can eat a lot of gas in a hurry, but if you drive reasonably and do a lot a highway driving they can be pretty good actually. What kills me is having to pay the extra 20 cents or so for the premium! Thats why I keep an accord for a daily.
