Do you have scientific facts to back this up?

A filter located in the engine compartment will be exposed to warmer air than a filter located outside the engine compartment. I feel comfident in saying this is irrefutable, but I am not a scientist.

Feel free to conduct your own experiment, I suggest a stopwatch and two sticks of butter and some paper towels.

LOL Nicely done.

I put down 13.6 @ 104.42 with a 2.4 60'. Thats around 13.0 with respectable traction, which I didnt have. My mods at the time were Hooker LT's, Mufflex Y, GMMG Catback, Madwolf Tune, and maybe 1.6 Pro Mags, but I cant remember if I did those before or after. Stock weight, stock converter and gears.

The 10 bolt isnt as week as many think. I have 4 friends who ran them into the mid to high 11's with M6's and A4's. They seem to break more easily with 4.10's than 3.73's or 3.42's. My buddy found that his 4.11's ran longer and stronger than his 4.10's would.
