fuel tank venting?

So I got my tank sumped (two -10 outlets for pumps, one -10 drain hole) the inner coated, and finally after locating and drilling for a return powdercoated. Now I kept the whole circle top piece so I would still have a sending unit for my gauge, but I am thinking about using the old fuel supply line and the metal tube with the 3/8 hose on it for vents and just capping the other two lines off. Now my question is, is that too much venting? is it even possible to "over-vent" the tank?

Re: fuel tank venting?

I'd just use the old vent line in the sending unit with the factory control valve over by the frame. I think this is rollover protection.

I was just going to use that on one of the lines, and use a check ball valve on the other with possibly a little filter.
