fuel pump question
building a 383 with a small shot of squeeze 100-200
understand i need to change fueling system, what all do i need to get?
i get a discount on edelbrock and if at all possible would like to get the stuff through them. any suggestions, part numbers? i see that they make electric fuel pumps - regulators and such. im new to all this and just doing all the leg work for my machinist, so all help would be appreciated

Re: fuel pump question
The Walbro/Racetronix 255 L/hr is what most people get. http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix..._Pump_Kit.html
I was told by a Grand National owner that it's what all of them get too and it's about the only thing they all agree on as the default replacement part. I got one used and it works good. I don't think it's worth buying the harness for $90 though. All you have to do is solder two wires.

Re: fuel pump question
You don't have to solder anything. The pump runs on the regular wiring harness just fine. The benefit from the Racetronix harness is it will provide full power to the pump, even at WOT with every electronic accessory on the car running.
