fuel gauge stuck

my fuel gauge is stuck passed fuel. just started all the sudden? is it the sending unit?thanks

The Float is probably stuck. Either you can drop the gas tank and check everything out, or just keep good track of your fuel consumption mentally.

Wanna know if it's bad? Does it drop quickly to Empty once your tank gets low? When my sender was bad, my gauge would sit WAAAY past Full until I had about 2-3 gallons of gas left. Then it did a little "dance" depending on my acceleration and turning, until I got about a gallon left. Then it just sits dead on Empty...
