Any electrical geniuses out there that can help with this one?

1995 Z28 Convertible.

Just picked it up, and when I got it the fog lamps were working. Then one burned out and I thought, OK, time for my first (easy) upgrade. Hah.

Replaced the lights with some aftermarket ones and custom made some brackets to fit. All was well until I flipped the switch. Nada. No light on the switch, no light from the lamps. Did a bit of trouble shooting and when I bypass the relay...voila! Light! Cool. Bad relay, no biggie. swap relays with the cooling fan relay that i KNOW works...and still nada.

I have reached the limit of my expertise here...

Anyone have some ideas on where to look next?

If anyone has a wiring diagram for the fog lamp switch too, that would be helpful.

Ok, so I took the dash all apart, checked the power to the switch, checked the switch, everything seemed normal.

Put it all back together and figured I'd have at it again another day. (my patience, what little I have, was wearing thin)

After it's all back together, I flip the switch and BINGO! Lights.

I must have had a loose/sloppy/oxidized connector somewhere.

Oh well, at least it led me to this website...

Now to browse other peoples upgrades and mods, and start making a list...
