Fender question.

I seem to be missing a T-brace that goes to my drivers side fender. Does anyone have one that i could buy or does anyone know where i could buy this part. I really need this part ASAP.

Edit: It looks like a T and i guess it rivets to the fender and it bolts to the car. If i cant get this part i will have to buy a whole new fender. So could someone please help me out.

Re: Fender question.

Interesting find. Mitchell only list one bracket number for 96-97 its 10288966 for the left. Dont know if that helps. But it shows it as the only bracket needed. Hope it helps.

Re: Fender question.

Yeah i have that bracket. But the body shop says that i need some type of T-bracket. I think they are just trying to get more money out of me. So you say that all i need is that one bracket.

Re: Fender question.

Im sitting here looking at the mitchell with seperated view of all the parts there is no T bracket. on this thing. I would check with the shop and ask them for the GM part number that needs replaced. They should have it as this book im looking at is wha they are using.

Re: Fender question.

Well yesterday i went up to a camaro at a used car dealership and looked at it. On the drivers side by the mirror there is a brace that rivets to the fender and i think it blts to the car, but i couldnt see down that far without opening the door. So i know its there now but i just cant find one.
