factory alarm problems, how do i disconnect?

Question factory alarm problems, how do i disconnect?

My alarm seems to go off when it wants, especially in the rain. I want to turn it off somehow, how can i do this? 96 a4

Shock sensor bad? I'd try unplugging it.

Think it's in the same place mine is - on the inside wheel well, just above the spare tire.

Sounds like a VATS issue. Is the security light on the dash on? If so, do a search for VATS bypass. It's on Shoebox's website.
