New to this site but I have 06 chevy with a built 5.3 with prc stage 2.5 cnc ported heads with lsx 212/218 cam, ls2 timing chain and ls7 lifters and was considering swapping it into a 2000 camaro with a v6. If I did so would I have to upgrade the fuel pump in the camaro??

I never swapped a 5.3 into a camaro so any info on the build will be appreciated.

 

I just did some quick looking, this was a neat chart when talking about swapping V6 to V8:

3.4/3.8 V6 to LS1

I am not sure on fuel pump, but I thought they were the same between models. I am ignorant on the differences between the 5.3 and 5.7 engines, maybe someone around can chime in.
