Electrical problem encountered... Help !

The Z just gave me its' first problem.
I got in the car tonight... drove it for a while, looked down at my guages and realized that my right turn signal was partially lit. It wasn't completely lit up as in flashing the turn signal... it was dimly lit up. Also, it will not flash. When I move the turn signal, the indicator lights up to its full brightness, but will not flash.

Upon stopping the car, I noticed that the right headlight was much dimmer that the left one.

Questions:
1. Could all this be caused by a flasher going bad?
2. Are the hazard flashers and the turn signal flashers interchangeable (as on the 3rd gens)

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

It is probably a bad turnlamp socket. I have run into this problem alot on the earlier pre-97 f- bodys alot. I am not exactly sure but I think it was in 97 they switched to a plastic turn lamp socket due to corrosion. I have replaced many of the older corroded ones. Happens alot in the taillights. If it is not a bad socket, Then the second possibilty would be a bad ground. They are the Most 2 common problems for dim headlights and the infamous low glowing turn lamp.

My 1982 Oldsmobile had the same problem, it was a bad signal bulb.

Okay....
Another thing about it...
It only has the problem when the lights are on...
If the lights are not on, it works perfectly.

bad ground

you can find which corner by pulling the turn signal bulbs one at a time with the running lights on and watch the indicator on the dash to go out
