Electric cutout wiring ?'s
Electric cutout wiring ?'s
I recently bought a Q-tec cutout and the wiring is a little shaky , I have an idea of what I will have to do to make it work. And that is cut the wire shown in picture #1 and expose the red and black wires inside. Then I would have to splice these wires with the black and red wires in picture #2 which come from the switch. I'm guessing this will work please correct me if this wont work. Also I was curious to what wires I need to tap for power and ground to the switch. Thanks for the help, sorry for being such a wiring n00b.
