Re: E brake help

Hey guys I apologize I just checked and inspected the both of the rear cables,my drivers side rear parking brake is hooked up to the caliper. But my rear passenger side caliper isn't hooked to anything just sitting there,it looks like something is missing on the brake caliper.

I'll post a pic of it asap. But I need help of what is the issue lol

See SHOEBOX’S diagram:

The cable attaches to the end of lever 26. Here’s a “how to” from another site. Scroll to the bottom for 93-97 e-brake components.

Thank you Fred!! So do I need to replace the whole caliper? Bcuz the lever on the caliper is gone. Also too on that diagram Fred I'm missing #25 as well. Or would I be able to get that lever?

Re: E brake help

I don’t know how the parts are sold. If you have a local salvage yard, any rear disc brake 1993-1997 Camaro/Firebird should have the same setup.

thank you buddy. The whole cable is going to have to be replaced I got underneath the car n the cable is snapped in half. I checked the interior plastic out n thought it was ok when I said I verified it. So I'll just change the whole caliper and parking brake line.
