Dyno Numbers
Dyno Numbers
Dynoed my car on a Mustang Dyno today. Made about 15 pulls. HP 372.6 Torque 364.1 The car hit a peak of 385 HP on a few pulls, but it was for only about 100 rpm. The 372 HP ran from about 5,200 to 6,200 rpms. All runs were made on Nitto DRs. I thought these were pretty good numbers for a LT1 with a hotcam.
Re: Dyno Numbers
Thats pretty assume!!!! I also have a 93 TA, although mine is a 383 stroker board 60 over so its actually a 388 custom cam, ported heads, and m6,with stock rear end 3.23 gears....i wonder what my horsepower is, im kinda of scared to put slicks on it....
Re: Dyno Numbers
Can you post a sheet? That is impressive power. Is that on stock heads? What other mods do you have? Have you made any runs on the m6 yet? Why do you claim the 372 instead of the 385 as peak power? I wonder if there is something wrong with my car since it peaked at 5800 with the 847 and yours carried it on to 6200???
Re: Dyno Numbers
I have NO idea how to post it, give me your e-mail address and I will send it to you.
We changed the tune on the car after every run and the HP curve looked best when the HP was around the mid 370s, when my car hit 385 it only did it for about 100 rpm. My car ran good HP up to about 6,200 and than the springs would give out, they will be replaced before I race the car.
I have a 93 T/A converted to mass air, hotcam, stage I stock valve heads, SLP mids, all bolt-ons, and a 9". Hell the 9" and the DRs dropped the HP some. the tire were sticky as hell on the rollers! All dyno runs were made with the m6.
