Question Drivers Door Electrical Question

My dad just bought a beat up 96 camaro the windows and locks dont work. When we took the window/door lock switch off the door panel we found that pretty much all the wires were cut or stripped to bare metal . What I was wondering is that if we find a salvaged f-body 93-97 is it possible to take the WHOLE wiring out of the door and put it in his car? What I mean is, is there a connector like under the dash or somewhere around there that can be unhooked, removed and hooked into his car, so we dont have to butcher up the electrical anymore than it is?

So what would be the best way to go about changing it?

Re: Drivers Door Electrical Question

I'd suggest investing in a Haynes manual. You will thank me for it later. The Haynes manual contains a wiring diagram for you car. I would also look for another car similiar to yours so you can see which wires go where and what your missing. Good luck.
