How easy is it to replace driver side seat with a seat from the rear? Any suggestions?

In the 4th Gens, the complete rear seat is nothing like the front seats….. a flat, fold down panel serving as the seat back for both seats, and individual seat bottom cushions for each seat, bolted to the floor, no sliders.. Earlier models are similar. Should be obvious just from looking at them. Or are you just thinking of bottom seat cushions? In any case, I doubt there is anyone left here who has done it. Not many of us left.

Just the bottom seat pads. Can the rear seat pad be mounted on the movable front carriage?
If not, maybe I can find some orange shaggy carpet to cover the front seat .

Nope. Rear seat is way smaller, just for kids I think. For what it is worth, the front passenger side seat is the same as the driver side.
