Is it me or are the front seat seat -back latches really hard to operate when trying fold the seat back down to access the rear seat?

 

Like...the level is hard to move? Or just not "user friendly"?

 

My driver side is harder to pull than the passenger

 

Both.... just thought there was a secret like pushing on the seat while working the latch or something

 

I just grab the latch with one hand and pull to operate it
Then with my free hand, I move the seat.

 

It seems if I push back against the seat back while squeezing the latch it works better.I still don't it's very user friendly

 

Have you had your dealer check them out? I've got a 2010 so I don't know if something in the design may have changed, but, my kids are able to operate mine and one of them is still in a carseat. It should be really easy.
