drive shaft different for A4/M6?

doing a V6->Lt1 swap... i am going to get an aluminum driveshaft, but was wondering if it made a difference if the driveshaft came off an auto or a stick shift car (looking on ebay).

thanks

i had read conflicting stuff about that. some peope said they are the same, some said they are different. apparently they are different if you have a turbo350 tranny cause it's longer

The driveshafts from any 82-02 fbody should be interchangable.

i think all did...however they are still interchangable...you can put a V8 steel or alum shaft on a v6 without a problem.

as stated, all shafts from 83 (think 82 had one that was different) through 02 are interchangable.
