I am laying purchase to a 95 Z28 that needs some TLC....one of the items needing repair is the drivers side window...it seems to have had a problem with the track. I understand that on the B-Body cars the culprit here is poor slider/rollers. Does the F-Body experience the same issue? Does anyone have any comments on this?

 

i know that we have poor window motors, not sure about the track though.
the window motors on mine have needed replaced about every 50k miles

 

The f-body usually suffers from bad window motors. It is pretty common for them to fail but they are not too expensive or hard to replace.

 

Thanks...I won't know what all is wrong until I get it here...from looking at the play in the window, I am thinking it's a track issue...
