My door wont open!!!!
I hit my unlock button on my remote, sounds fine, door wont open though. Passenger side opens, so i tried manually unlocking and using inside latch, no work!!!
Whats wrong, I cant pull the door panel cause the door is shut, I look down in there, from the window hole where the wondow goes down, all bars and linkage looks and moves just like the passenger side
Help fast!!!

 

Sounds like the linkage or mechanism is shot. Maybe someone knows how to get around the lock? Other than that, my advice is to try taking off the panel with the door closed. I don't see any other way...

 

Make sure child lock isnt on . I would take apart the door like green demon said and definentally make sure everything is rigged up right.

 

Yeah, the lock mechanism broke, A little plastic piece inside the mechanism broke, Took forever and a day to get it open, Alot of fiddling around and messing with it, Took the pass. side one out to see how we could open it. Fianlly got it though, Anyone ever had this happen to them?

 

My 93 formula just had the same problem happen,

Kryckter, if your out there, were you able to get the door panel off with the door closed, any pointers on what part to fiddle with,

Help from anybody would be greatly apprciated...

 

Worst comes to worse you might have to destroy the door panel to get access in there. There are replacements available in the FS forum all the time.

But damn yeah that sucks.
