Over the years my doors seem to have gotten noisier when I close them. When closing a door on a new car they make a nice quiet cushioned sound. My doors sound like they're stopping mostly on the metal **** thing, on top of that I sometimes hear a tiny rattle when i close the doors with the window down. How can I get my car's doors to close like new again? I have taken the door apart before to replace the window motor...

Any suggestions?

 

Maybe the door striker needs some adjustment and lube up those door hinges.
